Enjoy the journey. You'll both be great parents! Remember there's no book that has all the answers. Go with your heart and all will be good. I'm very excited to meet you're new little one 👶 👣 and to be a Grandma again❤️ So happy for you guys!! |

Love, compassion, forgiveness, patience are seen by the little ones. They learn by example and you two will be great parents. Enjoy the journey. |

Spoil your kids you raise your grandkids, but if you raise your kids, then you can spoil your grandkids. Love them of course, but don't cater to them. Best advice from my brother Russell, at bed time let them cry the first night or two, it is hard but then they self console and sleep after that (you won't have to go for drives like many do). |

Enjoy it all. Every step gets better and better...there are NO terrible twos or frightening fours...or any other 'typical' BS that people talk about or complain about. Enjoy it all. One thing we have done is take a ton of pictures and create a PHYSICAL book to recap their year...two copies, one for them when they leave the nest and one for you to tear up over later in life. |

Sleep now as much as possible and throw all expectations out the window! It’s a crazy beautiful ride and you’ll be in over your head, but will love every minute! |

Read up on what to expect when expecting but do it your way and not what people tell you. |

The kids are members of the family. They are not the family. |

Just enjoy it. Babies will be babies. Kids will be kids. Let them play, learn, teach them right from wrong. And all will be well. |

I don't know what I'm doing... Me being bachelor. Do not teach your child about labor unions while they still have a bed time. Utilizing my history degree I may have taught some family to unionize and protest bed time in mass. So maybe the best thing is to not let me corrupt your child! |

Enjoy all of the baby snuggles and each stage of development! Everyone says babies and kids grow way too fast, and it is totally true! Document all of their "firsts"! Sleep while the baby is sleeping, and use a white noise machine in the babies room! They are amazing! Things around the house can wait...use that time to spend with your baby on your maternity leave! Being a parent brings its own set of challenging, but it is the absolute BEST. You will feel a different kind of love when you look at your baby for the first time - a kind you only experience when you have children! I am always here to answer any questions!! Enjoy this special time with your new bundle of joy! I am so happy for the two of you! ❤️ |

Get rest when you can, take in all the first moments and don't wish time away. Support one another and take time to go on dates, leaving the baby with a sitter. Being parents is hard but rewarding. |
